However, after recent thought, I think that Hajime has enough source material to make a unique character. At the time, I suggested that he should have a Hajime Hinata alternate costume. The final costume features Hajime looking like Izuru Kamukura (like how Link's final costume is the fierce deity). The costumes are based off of Hajime (obviously), Nagito, Chiaki, Sonia, Fuyuhiko, Akane, and Kazuichi. There are costumes based off several of the Danganronpa 2 characters. In this state, he is drastically powered up, especially his Neutral and Side Specials, which have been replaced with Future bullets and Future blades, both of which are uninterruptible. Hajime practically turns Super Saiyan, just like he does at the end of the game. For those who don't know Danganronpa, it's basically the equivalent of an "Objection!".įinal Smash: Create the Future. If attacked, he will counter the opponent's contradiction, with a " No, that's wrong!". Yes, I know how overused counters are, but it actually suits Hajime. Very good for horizontal recovery.ĭown Special: Counter. Hajime will ride the board along the path. The silhouette of a snowboard and a path appear. It can also interrupt attacks that opponents are doing. It has very high cancellation value, and can be used as a shield to projectiles just as well as an attack. After inputting the technique, the truth blade will appear, take a second to be drawn, and Hajime will swing it in a diagonal arc in front. I mentioned a similar Idea for Makoto, but the truth is, Makoto could never use Truth Blades. Hajime only has one kind of Truth bullet, and cannot cycle through them. Just like Makoto, Hajime has truth bullets as his neutral special. Hajime has a fairly good jump height, but his air game is not quite up to scratch. However, his lack of experience is obvious, with subpar damage and slight beginning lag. Instead of showing clumsy attacks like Makoto, he has a bit more confidence, and performs faster attacks, with far less end lag. Hajime is a fairly lightweight character, however, not as light as, say, Kirby. I think I'll share how he could work now. He's a very interesting character, but I can't say much without spoiling it. Hajime Hinata is the main protagonist of Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that he'd be a better addition than Makoto (not going to happen though).
